The American tulip tree, also known as the Liriodendron tulipifera tuliptree. AKA, tulip poplar, whitewood, fiddle-tree, and yellow poplar. Generally found in the eastern United states and native to the U.S. Ranging from the southern forests of Ontario and spanning as far south as Florida.
